There are three ways to step in front of the Kumite Lifestyle mic — and you don't need a black belt, a famous name, or a polished pitch to be one of them.
Maybe you have a story you've been carrying for years that you've never said out loud. Maybe you run a brand that resonates with our audience and want to put it in front of them. Maybe you live in a city we should be recording from, and you want to make that happen. Whatever brought you here — there's a lane for it.
Use the cards below to explore: On the Podcast covers guest applications and sponsorship inquiries. Bring the Show On the Road is for businesses, gyms, schools, and community spaces that want to host a live recording. Be a Guest is the direct application form for anyone with a story worth sharing.
Do I need a martial arts background to be a guest?+
Not at all. Some of our most powerful episodes feature people who've never trained a day in their life. We care about your story — the goal you're chasing, the lesson you've learned, the fight you're in. Discipline lives in every walk of life.
What kinds of stories do you feature?+
Honestly? All kinds. Fighters, coaches, athletes, parents, entrepreneurs, students, recovery stories, career pivots, family stories. If you're carrying something real and you're willing to talk about it openly, we want to hear it.
How do I apply to be a guest?+
Tap the Be a Guest card and fill out the application form. It takes a few minutes. Tell us a little about who you are and what story you'd want to share. Every submission is read personally.
What does sponsoring an episode mean?+
It means a host-read brand integration during the episode — we talk about your product or service in our own voice, the way we'd recommend it to a friend. Reach our exact audience without it feeling like an ad. See the On the Podcast page for full sponsorship details.
Can you visit my city to record live?+
Sometimes, yes. We do live recordings on the road throughout the year — at gyms, event spaces, community venues, and sometimes inside member homes. Submit the Bring the Show On the Road inquiry and we'll be in touch if it's a fit.
How long is a typical recorded episode?+
Most run 60 to 90 minutes. We don't rush conversations and we don't pad them either. The story dictates the length.
