A Message from the Founder

Welcome to Kumite Lifestyle.

If you're reading this, something brought you here — curiosity, a recommendation, an episode that caught your ear, a friend who wouldn't stop talking about it. Whatever it was, I want you to know it wasn't random. You're exactly where you're supposed to be.

I started Kumite Lifestyle because I believe in the power of conversation — the kind that doesn't get rushed, doesn't get edited for clicks, and doesn't pretend that life is simpler than it actually is. Martial arts gave me the language for it. The mat taught me how to show up when I didn't want to, how to lose without quitting, how to win without bragging, and how to look someone in the eye and respect what they're carrying — even when I can't see it.

But this brand was never meant to live only inside a gym. Every single person who lands on this page is fighting something. A goal that's still out of reach. A version of themselves they're working toward. A loss they're still processing. A dream they haven't said out loud yet. That fight doesn't require a belt or a rank — it just requires you to keep showing up. And that's who we built this for. Every walk of life. Every starting point. Every story.

Whether you're listening to the podcast on your morning drive, signing up for our community, picking up apparel from the shop, sharing your own story as a guest, or just quietly reading these words right now — thank you. You're the reason this brand exists. We're going to do everything we can to make sure it earns the time and trust you've given us.

If we haven't met yet — we will. And when we do, I hope you'll feel like you're walking into a room where the seat next to me was always meant for you.

With respect and gratitude,

Nicholas Arndt

Founder FAQ
Questions about Nicholas & the brand.
Who is Nicholas Arndt?+

Nicholas is the founder, host, and creator of Kumite Lifestyle. A lifelong martial artist and combat-sports advocate, he built this brand to give a platform to honest conversations and to honor the people — trained or not — who carry the lifestyle's values into the real world.

Why did you start Kumite Lifestyle?+

Because the conversations that mattered most to him weren't the ones happening in mainstream combat-sports media. He wanted a space for unrushed, unfiltered stories about discipline, resilience, and the fights people are having outside the cage — and a community for people who feel that pull whether or not they've ever trained.

How can I support the show?+

The biggest thing is showing up — listening, watching, sharing episodes with people who'd connect with them, and leaving a review on Spotify or Apple Podcasts. You can also support directly through the Support page, or pick up gear from Shop. Every bit goes back into the show.

How do I reach out to Nicholas directly?+

All inquiries should be submitted through the Contact form — that's the official channel and the fastest way to reach the brand. A member of the Kumite Lifestyle team will review your message and respond as soon as possible. Please note: while every message is read and triaged with care, we can't guarantee direct correspondence with Nicholas himself. Routing through the team allows us to respond promptly and make sure your inquiry reaches the right person. For guest applications, use Be a Guest; for hosting or speaking requests, visit On the Road.

Is Nicholas available for interviews or speaking engagements?+

Yes — on a case-by-case basis. Send the details through the Contact form (event date, format, audience, location) and our team will get back to you.

How can I follow Nicholas on social media?+
